NEXT HOSPITALITY GROUP was founded by Russell Paine in 2012 after a successful career in Food and Beverage spanning over two decades in such organisations as The Savoy, Harrods, Mandarin Oriental, Dusit, The Peninsula, Ritz Carlton to name but a few.

His last position held was Regional Director of F&B Hilton Worldwide, Europe. It all began with the creation of next|hospitality, Founded based on the distinct global market need for a professional Food and Beverage conceptualisation company that provides the Client true value in services rendered, next|hospitality offers Clients a full spectrum of conceptualisation services and will work with it’s Clients and Client appointed designers in order to realise each unique F&B project from commencement to opening, based on extensive market research, industry knowledge and the Client’s vision.

next|hospitality advises and coordinates the venue look, feel, unique selling points; décor, menu and uniform direction; choice of operational equipment both front and back of house; music styling and on occasion, senior level recruitment. next|hospitality’s most recent appointment was lead F&B consultant for the forthcoming Waldorf Astoria,



In 2013, the need was quickly identified that certain Clients required unique branded F&B venues however, were not interested in low to high-end mass market franchises or licenses so, with this in mind, next|brand was founded with long time friend and now Co-Founder, Harry Littlewood who began his professional career in hospitality but also branched out in to other areas such as real estate development (both private and corporate), energy and the luxury auto industry.

Since it’s inception, next|brand has worked with a number of quality recognised brands within the industry that were not in the business of restaurants or bars, in order to conceptualise venues based on the brand in question. In partnership with the brand owner, branded concepts have been created such as the Riedel Wine Bar, 1823 Tea Lounge by Ronnefeldt and, in association with the Frescobaldi wine family of Italy, LUCE Ristorante and Bar. next|brand represents these concepts and also MEGU modern Japanese Cuisine which is the epitome of precision in menu and beverage terms served within a modern Japanese environment and Conde Nast Restaurants. A number of one-off projects have been competed for Clients that are not represented.

In 2014, the need was identified to create a company, using the resources of next|hospitality and next|brand which focuses on a complete management solution for owners of restaurants and bars in malls and free standing locations. Acting in part on a Client request, next|restaurants was founded. next|restaurants offers clients a broad scope of restaurant, bar and lounge management services inclusive of coordination in design, fit out, procurement, kitchen and menu planning, recruitment, training and day to day management, pre and post opening.
